The University of Sunderland is the lead partner in the North East Workforce Skills consortium, a European Social Fund project, which aims to upskill the workforce within Tyne and Wear and Northumberland
and is worth £14,862,142. Partners include: Access Training, Code, MTC Training, Newcastle College, Seta and TDR Training.
The University of Sunderland has over 100 ESF fully-funded short courses available. Providing the opportunity for individuals who work in a variety of sectors such as healthcare, digital and technology,
engineering, business and leadership, media and education, to achieve personal goals and aspirations.
